We invite you to begin your practice with us in this intermediate level workshop series to understand each component of the art including tea leaves, tea wares, infusion techniques, procedures, your tempo, posture and movement, as well as their relationship and impact on the overall experience of tea appreciation.

This series is structured according to the six major categories of tea leaves by their respective levels of oxidation. Please click here for a list of contents. Each workshop lasts for 2.5 hours and occurs weekly or as scheduled.

Elaine Tsien, TAC TEA SOMMELIER, will guide you through this workshop.

Suitability:
The Foundation Series is suitable for you if you want to learn more about each component of the classical art of tea that was introduced to you in our Introduction Series. Nonetheless, our Introduction Series is not a prerequisite for this workshop series. After you have completed our Foundation Series, you will have the knowledge and skills to progress to our Exploration Series to advance your practice of the art.
