Join us in this basic level workshop to experience the beauty of the classical art of tea. You will be introduced to a brief history of the art and the six major categories of tea leaves. After a tea-tasting session, you will practice the procedures and etiquette to prepare, serve and appreciate tea using all six categories of tea leaves and various tea wares and utensils.

Elaine Tsien, TAC TEA SOMMELIER, will guide you through this workshop.

Suitability:
The Introduction Series is suitable for you if you are interested in acquiring basic knowledge and hands-on experience of the classical art of tea. After completion of this workshop, you are encouraged to progress to the intermediate-level Foundation Series for an in-depth study of the art as it relates to each of the six major categories of tea leaves.
